Da-Ju Kennel Training Group
This is group of folks from the Twin Cities area that get together once a week to talk dogs, train on dog specific issues/wants/wishes and socialize. This group is free of charge as long as you bring a sense of humor.
RULES:
1- Do not pet or attempt to pet another persons dog without asking. Some people are trying to train there dogs to ignore people and some of the dogs are not friendly. Safety first.
2- You are ultimately responsible for your dog. Please be aware of your surroundings and the proximity to others. Safety first.
3- I will always explain to you what I would like you to do with your dog before we do it. I will frequently demo it first with one of my dogs. If at any time you do not understand or are not comfortable with my plan, stop me. We can talk about it more or change approaches. I am very informal.
4- If a dog fight should break out, DO NOT TRY TO BREAK IT UP ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!! Get me ASAP. We will discuss how we will break up a fight in the safest manner in our group.
5- Please bring a sturdy collar/leash/ and lots of treats for your dog. I use cut up hot dogs.
6- Please bring any and all questions. There are no dumb questions.
7- Please bring a sense of humor. It is required.
8- If you bring young kids, please review the rules with them. Always safety first.
9- Bring water for yourself and your dog. It can get hot out there.
10--This is designed to be a fun and growing time for you and your dog. Do not get frustrated. See #7 above.
